## 304 vs 410 Stainless Steel

Yinshiji does not describe every set as entirely 304 stainless steel. Current carved 5-piece sets use different steel grades by piece:

- Dinner knife in Silver Carved and Gold Tone Carved 5-piece sets: 410 stainless steel.
- Dinner fork, dinner spoon, small fork and small spoon in those carved sets: 304 stainless steel.
- Single dinner forks currently listed by Yinshiji: 304 stainless steel.

Why: forks and spoons are optimized for everyday food-contact corrosion resistance, while dinner knives have different blade and hardness requirements.

## Gold Tone Finish

Gold tone means a warm gold-colored surface finish over stainless steel. It is not real gold, not a precious-metal claim, and should not be described as jewelry-grade gold.

Care:

- Hand wash with mild soap.
- Avoid bleach and harsh detergents.
- Avoid abrasive scrubbers and steel wool.
- Dry promptly after washing.

## Silver Tone Finish

Silver tone is the simplest visual finish in the current carved collection. It is the safest first choice when the buyer wants a classic, less visually loud table setting.

Care:

- Hand wash recommended.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Dry promptly to maintain surface condition.

## Wenge Wood Handle Care

Wenge wood handles add warmth and natural grain. Chinese product language may refer to the wood as chicken-wing wood because of the grain. Natural grain variation is expected.

Care:

- Hand wash only.
- Do not soak.
- Do not place in the dishwasher.
- Dry promptly after washing.
- Occasional light food-safe mineral oil may help if the wood feels dry.

## Dishwasher Guidance

For long-term finish quality, hand washing is the safest recommendation across Yinshiji products. Wenge wood handle items should not go into the dishwasher.
